An Assistant Property Manager assists and provides support to the manager of a property or complex. May oversee the maintenance of the buildings. May also provide information about the community to prospective residents, and troubleshoot issues with the buildings and community residents.
Full-time or Part-time About the Role Easthampton Management (Ivory Equity) is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Reporting to the Property Manager, you'll help ensure our assets are well-maintained, our tenants are well-served, and our operations run smoothly. What You'll Do Assist in the daily management of a mixed residential and commercial portfolio, including leasing, renewals, and tenant relations Serve as a first point of contact for tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution Coordinate maintenance and repair requests with vendors and building staff, and follow through to completion Support rent collection, process invoices, and help maintain accurate financial and lease records Conduct property inspections and help ensure compliance with safety, lease, and regulatory requirements Prepare leasing documents, reports, and correspondence; maintain organized tenant and property files Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and unit or space turnovers Support the Property Manager with budgeting, reporting, and other operational tasks as needed Assist with scheduling, outreach, and other related office work as needed What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in property management, real estate, leasing, or a related field (residential and/or commercial) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional, customer-focused approach Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with property management software (e.g., PropStream, AppFolio, or Quickbooks) is a plus Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Real estate license a plus, or willingness to obtain What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Flexible Schedule per request Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within Easthampton Management and parent company Ivory Equity How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief cover letter through [Indeed / LinkedIn].
