May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, and administrative functions to ensure an exceptional living experience for residents. Your proactive approach and leadership will drive occupancy rates, uphold property standards, and foster a vibrant community atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage luxury apartment communities with a focus on customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of luxury apartment communities, ensuring smooth leasing processes and tenant satisfaction. Oversee lease or rental agreement management, including renewals, amendments, and legal compliance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to track leasing activity, rent collection, maintenance requests, and financial reporting. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions; resolve conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies. Conduct regular property inspections using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to identify issues early and ensure prompt resolution. Lead team management efforts by supervising leasing agents, administrative staff, and maintenance personnel; foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and legal administrative records related to property operations. Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and optimizing operational costs without compromising quality. Upsell additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction while adhering to fair housing laws. Skills Proven experience with property management software: Yardi, (OneSite or similar platforms may be considered) Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Fair Housing regulations. Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective negotiation abilities for lease agreements and conflict resolution. Demonstrated ability in team management with leadership skills that motivate staff towards shared goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes. Experience in real estate administrative functions including contracts, data entry, filing, and legal documentation. Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices. Exceptional office experience with phone etiquette and client relationship management skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
