Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer specializing in mobile patrols at residential properties on the Eastern Shore. You will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. Operational Window:

7 days a week, Sunday through Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 AM.

Shift Options:

Day Shift:

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (8 hours)

Evening Shift:

6:00 PM - 2:00 AM (8 hours) Flexibility within these windows is required. Duties Conduct regular mobile patrols of residential communities, ensuring all areas are secure and compliant with safety standards. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for each shift. Perform background checks on visitors or contractors when required, verifying identities and access permissions. Enforce security regulations by managing entry points, conducting vehicle inspections, and controlling access to restricted areas. Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents with inquiries, offering directions, and maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements Vehicle & Licensing:

Must have a reliable personal vehicle suitable for mobile patrol duty, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance (company will supply vehicle magnets and top lights). (

Vehicle is required for this position) . Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields with knowledge of physical security measures. Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations; training in firearm handling, Taser use, CPR/AED certification preferred. Strong surveillance skills including CCTV operation and familiarity with access control systems. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and performing patrols on foot or vehicle. Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail; experience in conflict de-escalation and conflict management techniques. Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, fire safety protocols, and heavy lifting safety standards. Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and enforce compliance with security regulations effectively.
