Position Overview We are seeking a highly dependable, professional, and trustworthy Private Household & Property Manager to become an integral part of our household. This is a unique position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful property, keeping a household organized, and providing dependable personal transportation and support to the homeowner and family. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, organized, discreet, personable, and comfortable becoming a trusted member of the household. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and organization of the property, while also providing transportation, errands, and household support as needed. When the family travels, the individual may also be responsible for house and property oversight and caring for the family dog , including feeding, walking, letting the dog outside, and maintaining the dog's normal routine. Primary Responsibilities Property & Grounds Maintain the overall appearance and organization of the property Mow and maintain lawns Perform basic landscaping and seasonal property maintenance Maintain flower beds, trees, shrubs, and outdoor areas Remove household garbage and recycling Keep garages, driveways, walkways, patios, and outdoor areas clean and orderly Monitor property for maintenance issues Coordinate outside contractors and service providers when necessary Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf cleanup, storm preparation, etc. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate Keep equipment, tools, and storage areas organized Transportation Provide professional and safe transportation for the homeowner Drive to business meetings, appointments, dinners, airports, events, and other destinations Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle Assist with loading/unloading luggage, equipment, packages, and other items Be available for occasional evening transportation Maintain flexibility for changing schedules and occasional short-notice transportation needs Household & Personal Assistance Handle household errands and pickups Pick up groceries, packages, prescriptions, supplies, and other items Coordinate deliveries and service appointments Assist with preparing the property for guests Help keep household areas organized Monitor supplies and notify the homeowner when something needs to be replenished Assist with special projects around the home and property Dog & Home Care Care for the family dog when the family is traveling Feed, walk, and care for the dog according to the family's established routine Ensure the dog receives appropriate attention and companionship Monitor the home and property while the family is away Coordinate with veterinarians, groomers, boarding facilities, or other pet-care providers when necessary Maintain the home's normal routines during travel The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is much more than an employee who simply performs assigned tasks. If the garbage needs to go out, you take it out. If the lawn needs attention, you handle it. If a light is out, you identify it and get it addressed. If a package arrives, you take care of it. If the dog needs to go outside, you take care of it. If the homeowner needs transportation to a meeting, you're ready to go. The expectation is that the property, vehicles, household tasks, and responsibilities entrusted to you are handled proactively and professionally. Schedule & Availability The normal schedule will generally be Monday through Friday during daytime hours , with flexibility required based on the homeowner's schedule.

The position will occasionally require:

Evening transportation Weekend assistance Early-morning transportation Airport transportation Short-notice schedule changes Additional hours when the family is traveling House and dog care during family trips We are looking for someone who understands that this is a trusted household position with a degree of flexibility , rather than a strictly 8:00-5:00 position.

Pay:

$24.72 - $30.97 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
