Overview:
The Community Association Manager provides oversight of all operational and financial aspects of our residential communities. The individual must allocate his/her time between the management office and the properties they manage to ensure that the highest standards of maintenance and continuity are present. This is a Direct/Full time role with competitive compensation, benefits and PTO. Based in Farmington Hills, MI.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Meetings
- meet with vendors, community members, and the Board of Directors; prepare and distribute management reports and meeting agendas Alleviate pressure on the Board of Directors
- perform routine property inspections to identify violations of governing documents and rules Advise
- ensure Board members are equipped to make decisions that are in the best interest of the community Budget and Finance
- oversee expenditures, budget creation, monitor payables and receivables Records
- collect and organize all documentation related to Association operations including records, documents, and correspondence Vendor Management
- coordinate bidding process, present the Board with the results, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure completion of approved scope of work Maintenance
- general supervision of the maintenance of all common areas, keeping records of maintenance, ensure prompt compliance with any and all laws Ideal candidate must: Be an excellent leader Possess strong organizational skills Adhere to all standard operating procedures Able to be create solutions and problem solve Follow-through on multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner with great attention to detail Successful candidates will be self-motivated, flexible, possess excellent communication skills Proficient in various software applications, and have a passion for exceptional customer service while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
CMCA® or AMS® credentials preferred Be able to work occasional evening hours for board meetings, however; compensated the following day, by either adjusting start or end work hours. Average work week consists of 40-45 hours.
