Flint, MI Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Property supervision English Project leadership Facilities routine maintenance Leadership Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Community Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance operations within our community facilities. In this energetic role, Your leadership will drive the implementation of maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and project management initiatives to maintain a high standard of community management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality of life for residents by ensuring a well-maintained, safe, and functional environment. Duties- Represent parent company, its individual properties, employees and residents in a professional, pleasant and productive manner at all times.
- Inspect community grounds continuously, record deficiencies, report to Community Manager and act as needed.
- Recognize and address safety issues and perform necessary corrective measures and procedures for all personnel.
- Remain aware of community activities and assist when needed.
- Adhere to move-in schedule(s) and service request deadlines.
- Perform regular inventories of maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies to advise Community Manager of needs.
- Maintain order and appearance of garage and storage areas.
- Perform community grounds cleanup, mowing, trimming, snow removal, etc.
- Supervise and maintain all maintenance and grounds equipment, including but not limited to, snow removal, vehicles, tools, etc.
- Comply with national, state and local health and safety laws to reduce accident occurrences and to protect residents, the company, team members and vendors.
- Remain available for "on call" duties as needed.
- Act on emergency situations appropriately, including reporting them to the appropriate individual(s) (Community Manager/District Manager/Regional Manager).
- Participate in the refurbishing of community owned homes.
- Monitor vendor performance and report to the appropriate individual(s).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
