Are youanized, dependable, and experienced in property management? RHF is seeking an Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of Mill Pond Manor, a 48-unit older adultmunity in Saline, MI.
This position oversees property operations, leasing, resident relations, staff coordination, and HUDpliance while helping maintain a safe, weing, and well-managedmunity. The ideal candidate isanized, service-oriented, andfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
What You'll Do
As our Apartment Manager, you will:
Property Management:
Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, facilities, staff coordination, vendors, inspections, and property maintenance.
HUD Compliance:
Ensurepliance with HUD requirements, RHF policies, and applicable regulations. Maintain accurate records andplete required certifications, recertifications, reports, and documentation.
Leasing & Occupancy:
Manage leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting tours, processing applications, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and monitoring occupancy.
Financial Management:
Assist with property budgets, monitor expenses, review purchase orders and invoices, and support the financial operations of the property.
Resident Relations:
Provide excellent customer service, address resident concerns, supportmunity activities, and maintain a weing and respectful environment.
Team & Vendor Coordination:
Provide direction to office and maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors to support efficient property operations and a well-maintainedmunity.
Inspections & ing: Conduct property and unit inspections and coordinate HUD inspections, audits, and other reviews. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Other Duties:
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support property operations.
- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
- Experience with HUD housing programs andpliance.
- Experience managing property operations, budgets, and financial documentation.
- Stronganizational,munication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
- Must successfullyplete required pre-employment screening, including employment and reference verification.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform routine office and property management activities.
- Ability to conduct property tours and inspect units andmon areas.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
