Community Property Manager - The Loop Traverse City, Michigan | 141-Unit New Apartment Community | Opening Fall 2026 A new chapter is coming to Traverse City! The Loop, a brand-new 141-unit apartment community featuring one- and two-bedroom apartments, is scheduled for first occupancy in Fall 2026. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team and help bring this exciting new community to life. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a community from the ground up. As Community Manager, you will play a key role in preparing for opening, leading the lease-up and marketing efforts, establishing operational processes, building a high-performing team, and creating a welcoming community residents are proud to call home. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for customer service and leasing, and enjoys the challenge and excitement of launching something new. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day operations of The Loop Recruit, train, and lead the on-site management and maintenance team Help prepare the community for first occupancy and establish effective operating procedures Lead leasing and marketing efforts to achieve lease-up and occupancy goals Build relationships with prospective residents and provide an exceptional leasing experience Establish a welcoming and engaging resident experience from day one Conduct regular inspections of the community, apartments, and grounds Coordinate and supervise on-site contractors and vendors Oversee maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of resident concerns Oversee move-in, move-out, and annual inspection processes Oversee rent collection and related financial procedures Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense management Maintain accurate property records and reports Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Coordinate ongoing training and development of team members Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and the surrounding community Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous apartment or property management experience preferred Experience with lease-up or new community openings is a plus Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong leasing, sales, and marketing abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional, positive, and solution-oriented approach A genuine passion for creating exceptional resident experiences Why The Loop?
