This energetic position offers the opportunity to support property operations, foster positive resident relationships, and ensure compliance with housing regulations. You will work closely with the Community Manager to oversee leasing activities, coordinate maintenance, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations Support lease or rental agreement management using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure a safe and attractive environment Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, maintaining excellent customer service standards Contribute to budgeting processes and financial reporting related to property expenses and income Support compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and other legal requirements Assist in conflict management between residents or staff, promoting a positive community atmosphere Maintain accurate filing of contracts, legal documents, maintenance records, and resident files using office software and property management systems Requirements Proven experience with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 program requirements Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies preferred Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and client communication abilities Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive community environment Familiarity with lease or rental agreement processes, contracts, and legal documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and correspondence Experience with property maintenance coordination and facilities management is a plus Demonstrated team management skills and ability to support staff in a collaborative setting Knowledge of LIHTC programs and experience working within affordable housing initiatives highly desirable This position offers an engaging work environment where your organizational skills and passion for community building will make a meaningful impact.
