Family Foster Care Supervisor - Joplin, MO Are you an experienced social services professional ready to take the next step in leadership? We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Family Foster Care Supervisor to lead our Family Foster Care program and support our dedicated team of Family Foster Care Specialists in the Joplin, Missouri area . What You'll Do Lead the Family Foster Care Program Provide oversight and direction to ensure children receive high-quality services focused on safety, permanency, and nurturing family environments . Support program goals and ensure services are delivered effectively and professionally. Supervise & Develop a Strong Team Provide leadership, coaching, guidance, and support to Family Foster Care Specialists. Help team members grow professionally while maintaining high standards of service and accountability. Promote an effective, collaborative, and supportive work environment. Build Strong Community Partnerships Serve as an agency representative with the Children's Division, contract agencies, clients, and community partners. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships that strengthen services for children and families. Advocate for Children & Families Attend required meetings and collaborate with professionals involved in each child's care. Help ensure the needs, progress, and permanency goals of children and families remain at the center of service planning. Additional Position Requirements This position requires the ability to: Occasionally travel throughout Missouri for meetings, training, client transportation, and other agency needs. Maintain flexibility in work hours to respond to crisis situations when necessary. Work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Participate in occasional overnight travel. What We're Looking For Education Master's degree in a related field required. Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred. Experience Minimum of two years of successful experience in social services and/or case management . Two years of supervisory or management experience preferred. Skills Strong leadership and organizational abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with program development and relationship building. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, families, community partners, and outside agencies.
