Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two apartment communities in St. Louis. This is a full-time, on-site position for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to maintain strong oversight while alternating between two properties. The ideal candidate will have previous multifamily property management experience and be confident managing leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance coordination, reporting, property appearance, and overall site performance. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of two apartment communities Alternate between both properties based on operational needs Manage leasing activity, occupancy, renewals, and resident retention Monitor prospect traffic, applications, follow-up, and leasing performance Oversee rent collections and delinquency follow-up Communicate with residents regarding lease matters, account balances, concerns, and property policies Coordinate closely with maintenance staff and vendors Review and follow up on maintenance requests and property-related concerns Conduct regular property, unit, common-area, and vacant-unit inspections Ensure vacant apartments are ready for leasing and move-in Monitor property appearance and address issues promptly Prepare and review property reports, including occupancy, leasing, collections, and operational updates Maintain accurate resident and property records Manage lease renewals, notices, move-ins, and move-outs Help supervise and support leasing or administrative staff assigned to the properties Ensure leasing offices, models, and common areas are professional and tour-ready Maintain compliance with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and lease procedures Communicate regularly with management regarding property performance, resident issues, staffing needs, and operational concerns Assist with budgeting, purchasing, vendor coordination, and expense management as needed Qualifications Previous multifamily property management experience required Experience independently managing an apartment community strongly preferred Experience overseeing multiple properties or a multi-site portfolio is a plus Strong leasing, resident relations, and collections experience Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication Ability to prioritize responsibilities across two locations Comfortable holding residents and team members accountable while maintaining a professional approach Experience with property management software preferred Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements Reliable transportation and ability to travel between both properties Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their properties, follows through consistently, and understands the importance of balancing resident service with strong operational and financial performance.Salary:
