The Residential Supervisor (RS) manages the overall operation of the client's home. This includes ensuring the health and safety of the clients residing in the home, overseeing the treatment and skill development they receive, and maintaining the furnishings, equipment, and condition of the home. The RS is responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as contractual and licensing obligations from accreditation organizations, the Montana Developmental Disabilities Program, the Sanitation Department, the State Fire Marshal, and the Department of Public Health and Human Services. Other duties may be assigned. The RS also provides direct support to the clients in their home and community, ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, medication support, meal preparation, recreational activities, and community engagement. Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
The RS supervises all full-time staff (Residential Aides, Awake Night Aides, and Shift Coordinator) and part-time staff (Weekend/Weekday Relief and Awake Night Aides). The RS carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include participating in the hiring of residential staff, providing orientation and job-specific training, conducting performance evaluations, and issuing disciplinary action when necessary. The Supervisor also oversees staffing hours and reports staffing information to the Business Office.QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Because this position requires driving, applicants must meet the minimum age requirement for insurance coverage and vehicle operation (currently 21). High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, as is experience working with people with disabilities or a similar field. At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred. Applicants must also be able to pass a criminal background check and must meet insurability requirements and pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) screening.Licenses & Registrations:

Any lifting over 50 pounds requires assistance or the use of an approved assistive device. The role may require frequent standing, walking, reaching, and providing physical assistance, as well as occasional kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
