$45,000•55,000 Base + 2-3% Bonus on Home Sales Position Summary The Sales & Leasing Consultant is responsible for driving occupancy and home sales by marketing the community, generating leads, conducting tours, closing sales and leases, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the home-buying and leasing process. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents while helping create a welcoming, community-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Generate qualified leads through marketing, referrals, social media, community events, and outreach. Conduct tours of available homes and community amenities. Present financing, leasing, and home purchase options to prospective residents. Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry through move-in. Meet or exceed monthly sales, leasing, occupancy, and revenue goals. Follow up promptly with all leads using CRM software and company procedures. Prepare and process lease agreements, purchase contracts, and required documentation. Coordinate move-ins, inspections, and home readiness with maintenance and management teams. Build relationships with local employers, real estate professionals, and referral partners. Maintain knowledge of available inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing programs. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all federal, state, and local regulations. Resolve resident concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate. Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports. Participate in community events, open houses, and marketing initiatives. Assist with resident retention efforts and lease renewals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of sales, leasing, real estate, property management, retail sales, or customer service experience preferred. Strong closing, negotiation, and communication skills. Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable working with sales goals and performance metrics. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/property management software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
