Job Description

CAMS (Community Association Management Services) is in search of a full-time Assistant Community Manager to assist in the management of a fractional ownership community consisting of 6 ½ acre property, Clubhouse, and amenities with 25 cottages functioning as a resort. Prior Homeowners Association, Property Management, and/or Hospitality experience is preferred. Hourly rate is negotiable based upon experience ($22.00
  • $24.00) and benefits are included. The position hour will be Monday
  • Friday 8:00
  • 5:00 p.
m. This position is on a barrier island accessible by ferry only. A ferry pass and parking pass will be provided by the Association. Responsibilities Assist Community Manager in all aspects of the job Provide Administrative support Assist with communication with the Board of Directors and committees Assist in daily communication with Owners Assist Owners with billing and account questions Assist Owners with on-site issues and needs Assist in making regular updates to community website(s) Assist in managing registration system and trades/rentals among owners Assist in scheduling weekly housekeeping Assist in weekly review of housekeeping completion of every cottage, golf cart, grill, amenity Assist in coordinating special cleaning of carpets and upholstery Assist in completion of Annual Deep Cleaning of every cottage Assist in managing housewares and linen inventory for every cottage Assist in ordering housewares, linens, and paper products as needed Assist in analysis and problem resolution as needs present Provide weekly updates on activities, issues, problems, or concerns to Community Manager Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Excellent Customer Service skills Excellent problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multi-task Detail Oriented Ability to learn on the job Some general accounting/financial knowledge Ability to walk 3-5 miles a day, climb stairs and lift objects up to 30 pounds The CAMS compensation package includes: Paid Time Off Company Paid Holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans are available 401(k) with employer match at 1-year mark of employment Life Insurance Short-term Disability Long-term Disability Accident coverage Critical Illness coverage Employee Assistance Program
