This role involves managing daily care activities, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in long-term care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and residential facility management to promote quality of life for residents while maintaining operational excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized care. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring adherence to all long-term care regulations and health policies. Supervise and support care staff, including training on resident rights, dementia care techniques, medication administration, and emergency procedures. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including memory care and disability services. Manage staffing schedules, monitor team performance, and foster a positive team environment focused on compassionate resident-centered care. Ensure compliance with healthcare financial management practices, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health records, incident reports, medication logs, and regulatory audits using Microsoft Office tools. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services such as nursing leadership, assisted living activities, and community engagement initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in nursing home administration or management within senior living or long-term care facilities. Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's disease management, and resident's rights legislation. Strong background in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight. Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in residential or community-based settings. Familiarity with long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and disability services standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in high-pressure environments. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in group home settings is highly desirable.
