Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to each client's needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming and professional environment. Stay informed about current massage therapy practices, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and occupational health guidelines. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and hygiene standards to ensure client safety at all times. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in various massage modalities. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pain management techniques, and medical terminology. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience with specialized massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, sports massage, and deep tissue massage is highly preferred. Knowledge of occupational health practices and experience working in med spa settings is a plus.
