Overview Join our dedicated team as a Resident Monitor and play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents. In this dynamic position, you will oversee daily activities, ensure safety protocols are followed, and provide compassionate supervision to promote positive behavioral health and well-being. Duties Supervise residents to promote safety, positive behavior, and adherence to community guidelines Conduct regular security checks, including monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral incidents with effective crisis intervention techniques Assist with intake procedures, including data collection and documentation of resident information Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate medication administration records Facilitate conflict management by mediating disputes and promoting respectful communication Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing, and case management documentation Support residents with childcare needs or home & community care activities as required Requirements Proven supervising experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and conflict management techniques Experience in addiction counseling or behavioral health services is a plus Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively during emergencies Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs or similar housing initiatives preferred Experience in data collection, filing, and accurate record keeping necessary for compliance purposes Valid experience in medication administration and understanding of healthcare protocols Prior work in home & community care settings or social services is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
