Area Manager Campbell Properties - 3.0 Fargo, ND Job Details 22 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description As the Area Manager at Campbell Properties this position is to oversee all day-to-day operations that includes a portfolio of apartments and/or townhomes. This position will foster a team to develop skills, achieve excellent performance, and exceed Campbell Properties goals. As the Area Manager, this position has a passion for serving others while maintaining an organized and succeeding office. This position is responsible for leading the team in completing tasks and deadlines while working with the leadership team to strategize best business practices.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations within the assigned site office. Oversee employee work daily to ensure adherence to organizational standards and guidelines. Meet regularly with managed employees to provide critical feedback and encouragement. Manage employee schedules, to include setting hours and approving timesheets. Assess training needs for employees, including new employees, and train on all appropriate processes - both initial and on-going. Track employee activity, to include successful completion of designated tasks. Liaise with leadership to coordinate and report ongoing issues. Identify organizational or employee-related issues and create effective solutions. Occasional travel between other offices or territories to perform appropriate duties. Assist with general upkeep of the property's appearance. Follow all laws and regulations including Fair Housing and government programs. Become familiar with Campbell Properties policies. Perform all other duties as requested or assigned. Previous experience in property management preferred but not required. Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage others. Distinct communication skills, which include a willingness to offer positive and negative feedback as needed. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate across different levels of Campbell Properties. Excellent organizational skills and an ability to create easily followed guidelines for others. Strongly self-motivated, including continued growth of necessary housing related knowledge. Weekend availability. Yardi property management software knowledge preferred but not required. Must hold a current and valid driver's license, auto insurance and have a reliable form of transportation.
