Job Description

Job Description:
We have an immediate need for a Unit Supervisor - 2nd shift. Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21. Our clinical support is designed to meet the need of our youth with neurological and or psychiatric disabilities and intellectual and behavioral challenges. Children and their families are supported through programs designed to meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
Unit Supervisors oversee the residential staff assist staff by attending to clients and ensure that all state and agency rules and regulations are met, work with all unit managers to provide staff to child ratios as directed by State regulations, write employee evaluations and make recommendations on salary increases. Provide daily and weekly communication updates to all clinical staff. Check all documentation and records and make sure everything is up to date and documented. Provide a teaching atmosphere in the milieu focusing on peer interactions and life skills.
Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of an Associates' degree in a Human Services or a related discipline, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, and a minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with disabilities. The position requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Hours:
Sunday from 8AM-11PM and Monday-Wednesday 1:30PM-11PM. or Wednesday-Friday, 1:30PM-11PM and Saturday, 8AM-11PM. What's in it for you?
