A Residential Community Manager manages operations for an apartment community. Responsible for the maintenance and profitability of the apartment community. May provide information about the community to prospective residents, troubleshoot issues with the buildings and community residents. May also review and approve new lease applications, or be responsible for negotiating and closing sales.

Our expectation for this position is to provide excellent customer service to our guests (prospective students & their families, current students, RVCC colleagues, external colleagues, etc.). The Student Aides will assist the RVCC Admission's Team in a variety of responsibilities, which include assisting RVCC Admissions Coaches with set-up/breakdown for various recruitment events. Events such as Information Sessions, Open Houses, Instant Decision Days, etc. Also, the Student Aides will work with our Enrollment Center Assistants in providing customer service support so you need to be willing to learn new technology, such as our line management system QLess and our phone software RingCentral. This is a great opportunity to build your technical, marketing and customer service skills. We would like someone to be available for at least 10 hours per week, but we are flexible and can make adjustments to fit your class schedule. There is a requirement to be committed to the position for one academic year (fall and spring semester). In addition, we would like you to participate in fall and spring semester Open Houses.
Essential Duties:
Event Support Campus Tour Guide - in-person Event set-up and breakdown Prepare event giveaways Check inventory Work occasional Evenings/Saturdays Proficient in Microsoft products and various Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Communication via:
in-person, email, and utilizing Microsoft Teams-with RVCC staff (includes call campaigns). Preparing weekly mailers for prospective students and their families (Applied, Not Registered; Applied, With Registration; and Families). Confidentiality - Following FERPA and GDPR guidelines. Filing (Transcripts, Immunizations, etc.). Data entry in Microsoft Excel. Support the operation of our student ID system, TouchNet One Card.
Job Requirements:
Student needs to be federal work-study eligible. Please check with the Financial Aid office to determine eligibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
Full-time or Part-time RVCC student and Eligible for Federal Work Study. Strong customer service skills. Comfortable speaking with prospective students and their families. Ability to work independently and to know when to ask for assistance. Willingness to be flexible in work assignments as they will change at different points in the year. Bilingual preferred.
