About the Role We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Community Manager to lead operations at a premier 250-unit, Class A luxury residential rental building in Hackensack, NJ. Reporting directly to the Regional Property Manager, you will be central to our property's success—overseeing daily operations, resident retention, marketing initiatives, and luxury service delivery. Oversee daily operations for a 250-unit luxury residential community, ensuring white-glove service standards and operational workflows are consistently upheld.
Team Leadership & Operations:
Oversee all on-site personnel, directly supervising the Assistant Community Manager and supporting staff to ensure high service standards and seamless daily operations.
Leasing & Revenue Optimization:
Supervise on-site leasing performance, draft lease agreements, analyze occupancy trends, evaluate local competitor pricing, and advise leadership on strategic revenue opportunities.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain precise operational records, including Vacancy Lists, MRI software reports, Traffic Reports, and market rate analyses.
Resident Experience & Community Building:
Serve as the primary liaison for residents, address concerns with tact and efficiency, manage amenity spaces, and organize monthly resident events in collaboration with marketing.
Marketing & Reputation Management:
Manage social media accounts, drive digital marketing campaigns, and actively track online reviews to enhance community reputation.
Facility & Curb Appeal Maintenance:
Conduct routine walkthroughs to ensure pristine curb appeal, common areas, and amenities. Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor on mechanical systems and building repairs.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Prior Community Manager experience required (specifically within Class A or luxury residential rental properties).
Mindset:
Proactive, "go-getter" leadership style with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Communication:
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a polished, executive presence.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with property management software (MRI preferred) and digital marketing strategies.
Licensing:
Real Estate License is a plus.
