RESIDENTIAL MANAGER
- Group Home for Developmentally Disabled Adults Babylon, LI Starting salary: $68,000/yr. Position Description:
For the position of Residential Manager , we are looking for a dedicated, talented individual who has a passion for helping our developmentally disabled adults to achieve their goals and live a full life. Current open position is located in our Babylon, LI group home. Major responsibilities include:
Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week; Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans; Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance; Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets.
Our ideal candidate will have:
BA/BS plus 2 years' or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years' management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adults Qualifications include: Clean, valid NYS Driver's License Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to resident care needs Ability to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds. Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.
Salary:
$68,000/yr.
Core Work Schedule:
40 hrs./wk. (9a-5p, Tues. - Sat. - Must be flexible) 24/7 On Call Availability required This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
