Job Overview Rizzo Restoration LLC is seeking an experienced Mitigation Crew Chief / Lead Restoration Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong background in the restoration industry who can confidently lead mitigation projects and crews from initial response through completion.. Responsibilities Lead and supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial restoration projects Respond to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies Perform water extraction, demolition, removal of affected materials, cleaning, and job-site preparation Set up, operate, and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and other restoration equipment Take moisture readings, monitor drying progress, and follow proper structural drying and mitigation procedures Assess job-site conditions, determine appropriate mitigation procedures, and direct technicians accordingly Complete required job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, notes, and paperwork Communicate professionally with customers and team members while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on restoration/mitigation experience required, with strong knowledge of water damage restoration and structural drying Previous experience as a Crew Chief, Lead Technician, or similar leadership role strongly preferred IICRC certifications are a plus, including WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, or related certifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation to and from work Must be dependable, professional, physically capable of performing restoration work, able to lead a crew, and available for occasional nights, weekends, and emergency calls as needed Compensation $35.00-$40.00 per hour, based on restoration experience, certifications, and qualifications. Overtime available.
