Residential Assistant Manager Bayside, NY Pride Health Full-Time Job Overview Pride Health is seeking a Residential Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a community residential program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role works closely with the Residence Manager to ensure quality care, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and smooth day-to-day residential operations. 8:00 AM-4:00 PM / 10:00 AM-6:00 PM) No overnight shifts Key ResponsibilitiesResidential Operations & Resident Care Support daily operations of the residential program Ensure compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulations Assist in planning individualized care and service programs Ensure residents' daily needs are met, including food, hygiene, clothing, and personal care Support medical coordination, appointments, medication oversight, and documentation Staff Supervision & Leadership Provide direct supervision and guidance to direct support staff Assist with staff scheduling and coverage needs Participate in staff evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary processes Provide training and mentorship to residential staff Compliance & Quality Assurance Maintain accurate resident and staff records Ensure compliance with fire safety, maintenance, and operational procedures Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts Monitor documentation accuracy and active treatment services Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and Treatment Coordinators Participate in home operations, resident support planning, and service coordination Respond to emergencies and changing resident needs as required Qualifications Only 12-18 months of related experience required! High School Diploma or HSE required Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Knowledge of OPWDD regulations Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work one weekend day weekly
