Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residence Manager to lead the daily operations of our senior living community. This pivotal role involves overseeing resident care, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in assisted living, nursing home experience, and long-term care management, with a passion for enhancing residents' well-being. As Residence Manager, you will foster a warm, supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and community engagement for all residents. Duties Oversee the comprehensive management of the residence, including staff supervision, resident care, and operational functions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including medication administration and infection control protocols Lead staffing recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated team Manage budgets, oversee financial operations, and ensure efficient resource allocation within the community Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality nursing and senior care services Foster positive relationships with residents' families and serve as the primary point of contact for concerns or updates Promote a safe, engaging environment that supports residents' social activities and overall quality of life Maintain accurate documentation related to care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance Qualifications Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a focus on long-term care management Supervisory experience leading teams within senior or group home settings Strong understanding of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory support programs, and resident's (personalized resident needs) Knowledge of medication administration procedures and healthcare regulations applicable to senior care facilities Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork Financial acumen for budgeting, resource management, and operational oversight Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home & community care settings is highly desirable Effective communication skills to collaborate with residents' families, healthcare providers, and staff members Certifications in nursing or social work are preferred; relevant management or leadership training is advantageous Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing compassionate leadership in a vibrant community.
