Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Team Member to join our dynamic property management teams located in Hillsboro, and Portland and Beaverton. These positions are available due to in house promotions. We offer hourly base pay with monthly commissions, rent discount, paid employee monthly health premiums and a $250.00 deductible through Blue Cross Blue Shield healthcare, great coverage. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, legal administrative procedures, and customer service will ensure a seamless experience for all applicants while supporting the overall success of our property operations. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents and conduct tours of available apartments with enthusiasm, highlighting key features and community benefits Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi. Assist applicants with application submissions, including Section 8 programs, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, contracts, and tenant files with precision and confidentiality Maintain up-to-date knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and property management best practices Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and address resident concerns promptly Upsell available units and amenities to prospective tenants while providing exceptional customer service through phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions Experience Prior experience in property leasing or sales related industries is highly preferred Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi systems, Outlook is advantageous Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 programs Proven ability to manage contracts, lease agreements, and rental documentation accurately Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner and conflict management abilities Office experience involving data entry, filing, customer relationship management and general administrative tasks is essential Experience working within property management companies or facilities management environments will be considered a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences!
