Brush & Beam Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in multifamily and residential property maintenance, unit turns, painting, repairs, and property improvement services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance, repair, and turnover services for multifamily and residential properties. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Essential Duties Complete apartment turns and punch list items Perform general maintenance and light construction repairs Drywall patching, texturing, and minor framing repairs Interior finish carpentry including baseboards, trim, doors, and hardware Install and repair cabinets, shelving, countertops, and fixtures Flooring repairs and installation (LVP, laminate, transitions, and trim) Install and replace light fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, and basic electrical devices Perform basic plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drains, and fixture replacement Install blinds, mirrors, bathroom accessories, and miscellaneous hardware Caulking, sealing, weatherproofing, and touch-up repairs Touch up and Full Unit Painting Job site setup, cleanup, and material management Safely operate ladders, power tools, and equipment Maintain company quality, safety, and customer service standards Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, vendors, and team members Minimum Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of verifiable experience in apartment maintenance &, residential remodeling, property maintenance, or general construction and painting (Required) Experience performing unit turns and maintenance work in multifamily properties preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read work orders and follow project specifications Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to safely use ladders, power tools, and construction equipment Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Ability to pass pre-employment and/or random drug testing Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Authorized to work in the United States Must own and maintain a basic set of professional hand and power tools necessary to perform daily maintenance tasks. Brush & Beam Construction will provide specialty equipment, company-owned tools, and project-specific materials as needed.
