Job Overview The Residential Program Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations, quality, and compliance of residential services while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served. This position is responsible for safeguarding organizational resources by implementing effective program management strategies, maintaining adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and ensuring compliance with established company policies and procedures. The Residential Program Manager provides leadership and support to residential staff, promotes person-centered services, and fosters a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Additionally, this role effectively communicates program goals, outcomes, and potential risks to leadership and team members, supporting informed decision-making and the successful delivery of high-quality residential services. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with ODP 6400 and 55 regulations and organizational policies while managing individuals' financial matters. Address individual needs that require a family-centered and person-centered approach, supporting service recipients and their families. Monitor and support individuals transitioning to 6400 residential programs, tailoring support based on each person's long-term goals. Manage team performance through effective communication, coaching, training, performance management and staff meetings. Conduct audits and compliance reviews in assigned residences, ensuring proper documentation, financial oversight, and adherence to state regulations. Assist in licensing preparation, internal program evaluations, and risk management strategies. Maintain a flexible work schedule, adjusting availability to meet program demands while ensuring a balance between leadership duties, direct support, and administrative tasks. Receive, review, and respond to incident concerns. Ensure all incidents are entered into the Electronic Incident Management (EIM) system within required timeframes and in accordance with the ODP's Incident Management Procedure. Key Skills Ability to manage multiple high-demand homes, balancing oversight, compliance, and emergency support. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in training, mentoring, and developing staff to maintain high service standards. Knowledge of ODP regulations (6100 & 52), and independent living best practices. Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to bridge gaps between families, staff, and service recipients. High levels of organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple residences while maintaining a flexible schedule. Requirements Must meet one of the following criteria: A master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism. An associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university, and 3 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism. High school Diploma/GED and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
