Founded in 1972, the company manages more than 85 properties and provides customized management services ranging from bookkeeping and budgeting, to administrative services, maintenance, site management, and consulting. Our team is committed to providing responsive, proactive, accurate, and professional service while helping association boards effectively manage their communities and plan for the future. Position Overview The Community Manager (CM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of homeowners' and condominium associations. This position serves as an advisor and primary point of contact for association boards, homeowners, and vendors. The CM works closely with volunteer board members to support financial management, property maintenance, regulatory and governing-document compliance, long-term planning, and effective community communication. Key Responsibilities Board Management, Homeowner & Community Relations Attend and facilitate regular board meetings. Prepare meeting agendas, packets, financial information, and management reports. Respond promptly and professionally to all homeowner inquiries, helping to resolve community issues and enforce association policies while maintaining positive relationships. Communicate community information clearly through meetings, email, association portals, calendars, etc. Financial Management Develop and oversee annual association operating budgets. Review monthly financial statements and invoices for accuracy and appropriate allocation. Assist boards with reserve planning, reserve studies, and long-term capital needs. Property & Maintenance Management Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance, safety, compliance, and aesthetic concerns. Develop long-term maintenance strategies. Coordinate vendors, contractors, and maintenance providers. Oversee capital improvement and maintenance projects. Compliance & Risk Management Stay current on relevant regulations, industry practices, and management trends. Help associations remain compliant with governing documents, state statutes, established policies and procedures, and maintaining records. Qualifications 2 years of previous property management experience with managing client and vendor relationships. Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience creating budgets and reviewing financial statements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with excellent organization, follow-through, and time-management skills. Ability to pick up new systems and software quickly. Preferred Qualifications Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) accreditation. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple communities and competing priorities independently.
