Community Specialist (Part-Time | Hybrid) Join Our Team! Christopher Alexander Residential (CAR) is seeking an energetic, people-focused Community Specialist to help create exceptional resident experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing communities. This isn't your typical property management position. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and being a visible presence within the community. If you're motivated, organized, and enjoy wearing multiple hats, we'd love to meet you. Position Overview As a Community Specialist, you'll serve as the primary connection between residents and our management team. You'll work both remotely and on-site, assisting with leasing activities, rent collections, resident communication, community engagement, and property operations. This is a part-time hybrid position , offering flexibility while maintaining a strong on-site presence to support residents. Responsibilities Serve as the face of the community by providing outstanding customer service. Build positive relationships with residents through regular communication. Lead rent collection efforts and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. Conduct lease signings, renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination. Assist with marketing and leasing available apartments. Respond to resident questions and resolve concerns professionally. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up. Perform routine property inspections and report community concerns. Maintain accurate resident files and documentation. Assist with compliance documentation as needed. Coordinate resident events and community engagement initiatives. Collaborate with maintenance, accounting, and management teams. Ensure company policies and fair housing standards are followed. Utilize property management software and Microsoft Office applications. Perform additional duties that support successful property operations. Preferred Qualifications Active Real Estate Salesperson License preferred . Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire (company support may be available).
