Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, self-starting Assistant to manage the leasing and day-to-day operations of a large shared residential property in West Jordan. This is a results-driven, two-phase role where you manage your own schedule. Initially, your focus will be online marketing and showing vacant rooms. Once rooms are filled, your schedule becomes highly passive, focusing on basic oversight and acting as the main point of contact for tenants. Key Responsibilities Phase 1: Leasing & Advertising (Until Rooms are Filled) Create and manage listings on student housing boards, Facebook Marketplace, and Roomies. Screen potential tenants for background, income, and house compatibility. Schedule and conduct in-person tours of the property for prospective renters. Phase 2: Property Oversight (Once Rented) Serve as the primary, friendly point of contact for tenants. Collect monthly rent and track payment statuses. Conduct routine visual inspections of common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. Document any maintenance issues or roommate disputes and report them directly to the property owners. Qualifications & Requirements Must be a self-starter who can manage 25 hours a week independently without micromanagement. Strong communication skills (prompt text/email responses are critical). Reliable transportation to commute to the West Jordan property for room showings and inspections. No prior real estate experience required; we will provide onboarding checklists!
Pay:
$11.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
