Boutique vacation rental company managing Airbnb's in South Orange County seeking property manager to oversee daily operations and guest reservations.
Please note:
this is a hybrid position requiring daily commute to different properties between San Clemente to Newport Beach. Out of area applications will not be considered. Additionally, active licensed real estate agents must be willing to sign a non-compete.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Oversees tasks pertaining to guest reservations (scheduling door codes, community access, sending check-in instructions, guest communication). Processing reservations, taking payments and inputting into reservation system, sending rental contracts/ensuring they are fully executed and returned within 24-hours. Assisting with bookkeeping (tracking and entering deposits, entering expenses, managing accounts payable/receivable) Communicate and interface with guests - providing property information, assisting with guest needs. Taking guest/homeowner telephone calls; cell phone will be used as the default to the business line. Coordinate and assist with scheduling property maintenance. Performing property inspections (going to properties during check out to inspect cleaners and ensure no damage to the property from previous guests). Assisting with various tasks pertaining to properties (restocking the homes, shopping for replacement items). Assist with vacation rental set up (shopping for furniture/supplies, coordinating maintenance/repairs, property staging, etc.) Create and revise systems and checklists, operational efficiencies, and strategic ideas. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Excellent computer skills; must have knowledge of utilizing a software database to process information. Comfortable with basic accounting, ledgers, income statement and MS Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally and calmly. Works independently and shows leadership and confidence. Prompt telephone availability (the type of person who responds to texts and calls immediately). Available 3-5 days per week including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have a reliable vehicle. Valid driver's license. Must reside in South Orange County (cities south of Costa Mesa).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality (i.e. front desk, guest services, night audit), property, or facility management. Prior bookkeeping experience. Bachelor's degree.
