Property Manager

Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Property Manager and take charge of overseeing residential properties with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind exceptional property operations, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination. Your proactive approach will ensure properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and regulatory standards are met. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction Oversee leasing activities, including property showings, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract execution Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other relevant legal requirements Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to maintain accurate data entry, rent collections, and financial reporting Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal Handle conflict management between tenants or vendors professionally and efficiently Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and oversee repairs or upgrades as needed Qualifications Proven experience in property management, real estate administration, or related fields with a focus on LIHTC or Section 8 housing preferred Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures Proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and vendors Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements, contracts, and upselling opportunities Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks Ability to manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact while maintaining positive resolutions Familiarity with property maintenance practices, facilities management, and health & safety standards We know choosing the right job matters.
