Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential or commercial properties. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and service providers, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and financially sound. Your proactive approach will help foster positive tenant relationships, maximize occupancy rates, and uphold the property's value. This position offers a dynamic environment where your leadership and organizational skills will drive success and tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, Fair Housing regulations, and lease agreements Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and maintain excellent customer service standards Oversee leasing activities, including property showings, applicant screening, and lease signing using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite Administer legal administrative tasks related to lease contracts, eviction notices, and landlord-tenant law compliance Coordinate property maintenance and repairs through facilities management teams or vendors; ensure timely resolution of issues Maintain accurate data entry for tenant records, rent payments, maintenance logs, and filing systems using CMMS or other property management tools Uphold legal requirements related to Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations to ensure ongoing compliance Develop upselling strategies for additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and revenue Skills Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for leasing, data entry, and reporting Legal administrative experience related to contracts, leases, evictions, and landlord-tenant law Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Experience in property leasing, sales techniques, negotiation skills, and upselling opportunities Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices (CMMS) preferred Office experience including filing systems, data entry accuracy, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in legal documentation and compliance records Strong interpersonal skills for customer relationship management and team collaboration Join us as a Property Manager if you're passionate about creating welcoming communities while ensuring operational excellence!
