The organization is building systems and teams designed to scale while maintaining a high standard of execution. The Role This role owns the performance of a property portfolio. You will set direction, establish systems, and ensure execution across operations, financials, and team performance. Success in this role comes from building structure that scales—clear expectations, repeatable processes, and disciplined follow-through—while maintaining the flexibility to adapt as the portfolio grows. You will not be expected to do everything yourself. You will be expected to design how the work gets done. What You'll Do Define and maintain operating standards across a portfolio of properties to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance Monitor portfolio-level financials, identify trends, and guide decisions that improve revenue, control expenses, and protect asset value Set expectations for occupancy, leasing performance, and renewals, and ensure Area Managers execute against them Build and refine systems for reporting, communication, and accountability across the portfolio Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including lease execution, documentation standards, and risk management practices Lead and develop Area Managers, providing clarity, direction, and performance feedback Identify gaps in operations and implement process improvements that scale across multiple properties Partner with leadership on growth planning, acquisitions, and operational readiness What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Experience overseeing multiple properties or a portfolio in property management or real estate operations Strong understanding of property financials (rent rolls, income, expenses, and performance drivers) Experience leading managers or multi-level teams Ability to create structure, systems, and processes in a growing or evolving environment Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed and accuracy Clear, direct communication style with the ability to set expectations and hold accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities across properties and teams Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of property management or portfolio-level experience Experience scaling operations across multiple properties or markets Familiarity with property management systems and reporting tools Real estate or property management license (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with investors, ownership groups, or asset management Why This Role This is a leadership role with real scope.
