The Emmanuel House is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to caring for women and their children as they rebuild their lives after addiction, incarceration, homelessness, or other trauma. We're seeking an Executive Director to lead our operations, programs, and staff by combining strategic organizational leadership with hands-on program administration. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and involves overseeing residential care, community partnerships, and day-to-day administration to ensure every woman and child in our program has a safe, supportive path toward healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Organizational Leadership Provide overall leadership to maintain compliance and integrity of the organization's operations Lead organizational and structural development and long-term growth planning Oversee clinical and social supervision and development for the program Represent The Emmanuel House in community relations and public-facing engagements Board & Personnel Relations Communicate regularly with the Board of Directors on current operations, ongoing needs, and growth opportunities Advise the Board on personnel needs and staffing decisions Supervise and support the Care Manager on participant care plans and training needs Program & Partnership Administration Seek out, nurture, and maintain community partnerships that provide educational seminars, mentorship, and support for residents Manage administrative tasks tied to program operations, including partner relations, referral education and follow-up, scheduling, inventory of needed items and services, handbooks, client binders, and intake paperwork Provide added support to residential site needs, including staff presence for phone calls and visitor coordination Residential Oversight Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained residential environment for women and children in the program Communicate immediate care needs promptly to the Care Manager Coordinate with House Manager(s) on residential needs, household items, and maintenance concerns

Qualifications:

Nonprofit leadership or residential/human-services administration experience preferred Familiarity with trauma-informed care, addiction recovery, or reentry services a plus Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Alignment with The Emmanuel House's faith-based mission
