Job Description

Residential Manager Job Description The Residential Manager (RM) will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day oversight of the Supportive Living, Employment and Community First, Community Living Support homes and PA members. The RM will serve under the supervision of the Residential Director (RD). The RM will serve as an Administrator on call in a rotation with the residential department. Duties and Responsibilities Provide administrative supervision, leadership, guidance, and feedback to staff. Ensure personnel actions are carried out on staff accurately and timely including training, evaluating, monitoring, disciplining, and terminating with documentation submitted in a timely manner. Respond in an appropriate manner to family/guardians and individual concerns in a timely manner. Demonstrate the ability to adhere to all Loving Arms, LLC, HCBS, ID/DD programs, policies and procedures. Follow all safety policies and adheres to all workers' compensation program guidelines. RM will conduct three unannounced home visits per assigned homes. RM will conduct one unannounced home visit per assigned PA member home. Supervise team leads and assigned staff. Maintains confidentiality regarding clients, records, personnel and other confidential information to comply with facility, state and federal policy. Conducts performance evaluations of assigned staff to give employees timely feedback on their performance. Attend ISP/COS meetings for individuals on assigned caseload as requested or needed to ensure proper information sharing with the circle of support. Complete all required paperwork associated with person supported in a timely manner and forward to the designated person. Complete monthly calendars/schedules to ensure that all shifts are covered accurately. Assist Assistant Residential Director with ensuring proper maintenance of homes through bi-weekly meetings. Provide monthly monitoring of environmental compliance of the Supported Living homes through monthly checks of safety devices, food storage and emergency safety drills. Maintain a professional attitude with person supported and their family, Co-workers, Subordinates, Therapists, ISC's, and all other agency stakeholders by presenting in a courteous, respectful manner always. Complete monthly reviews by the 20th of every month and submit the documentation to the
ISC, SC, CC
etc. Work in the residential homes as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or upper management.
Physical Requirements:
Lift, carry, push or pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds occasionally during a shift. Must be able to bend, stoop and squat while supporting individuals. Stand for long periods during a shift. Grip, grasp or twist using hands and wrists regularly during a shift. Must be able to physically remove member from a dangerous environment in the event of an emergency. Must be able to tolerate basic home chemical cleaning supplies. Must be able to tolerate bodily fluids and solids.
Qualifications :
Two (2) years of higher education preferably with a background in Social Work or related field. Supervisory Experience. Valid Driver's Licenses. Clear background check, registry checks, and abuse offenses.

The ability to communicate (verbal/physical) and interact in a positive manner with consumer(s) and co-worker(s). The ability to communicate effectively with individuals supporting the person supported. The ability to project and maintain a positive image of the agency in the community and to the person supported. The ability to follow planed scheduled activities. The ability to prioritize and schedule time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within allotted timeframes. Commitment to the use of verbal praise and positive and supportive language and redirection in engaging the individuals. The ability to follow procedure steps as trained by the agency and/or other training facilitators. The ability to convey information professionally in a variety of written and verbal formats. A commitment to supporting the dignity and respect of individuals with disabilities.
