Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of property management, ensuring smooth communication between tenants, vendors, and management. Your expertise in property administrative functions, leasing processes, and property maintenance will help foster positive tenant relationships and uphold the highest standards of property care. Duties Assist in managing lease or rental agreements, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards Use property management tools such as Resman and Buildium to update records, process payments, and generate reports Support landlord-tenant law compliance, including Section 8 housing programs and Fair Housing regulations Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, providing excellent customer service Conduct data entry, filing, and record keeping for legal documents, contracts, and tenant files Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting with financial documentation Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Fair Housing laws Experience with lease or rental agreement management and contract negotiations Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively Office experience involving data entry, filing, Microsoft Office applications, and client communication tools Background in facilities management or property maintenance is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values professionalism, innovation, and exceptional service.
