Duties Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including drafting, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local landlord-tenant laws Support property leasing efforts through client communication, property showings, upselling units, and maintaining positive tenant relationships Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to enter data accurately, generate reports, and track occupancy rates Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards Handle conflict management by mediating tenant concerns professionally and efficiently while adhering to legal guidelines Assist in budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports for review by senior management Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, legal documents, inspection reports, and other administrative records Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using property management tools like Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and related legal frameworks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and written correspondence Demonstrated conflict management skills with a professional approach to resolving tenant issues or disputes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence Experience managing lease agreements, contracts, and rental documentation with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently Office experience coupled with strong organizational skills including filing, data entry, and record keeping This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in property management while contributing positively to community living environments.
