Assistant Property Manager (Affordable Housing)

Position Summary Accolade Property Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support an affordable housing community in Denton, TX.Goal:
To support daily property operations by effectively managing rent collections, assisting with financial processes, and contributing to occupancy, revenue, and overall property performance.Qualifications Required:
Tax Credit (Affordable Housing) experience Previous office or administrative experience (property management preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and trustworthy Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices Experience or training in: Property management software (Yardi required) Rent roll systems and general computer proficiency Fair Housing regulations Collections and lien laws Willingness to assist with additional tasks when needed (including light cleaning, grounds support, etc.) Key Responsibilities Support daily office operations, including reporting, scheduling, and policy compliance Assist with enforcing community policies and procedures Collect, post, and deposit rent and other income accurately and timely Monitor delinquency and assist with collections, liens, and evictions as needed Maintain accurate resident records, lease files, and vendor documentation Assist with accounts payable processing and financial tracking Support resident retention efforts and community engagement activities Maintain knowledge of local market and competing communities Monitor service requests and communicate maintenance needs Step in to support team operations in the absence of the Property Manager Promote a positive team environment and strong resident relations Participate in ongoing training and development toward a Property Manager role Perform additional duties as assigned Why Join Accolade?
