Property Manager (90 unit- Full Time) Float Management Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $50,000 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Organizational skills Business Administration Office management Full Job Description We are seeking a responsible, organized, and customer-focused Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This is a one-person on-site management position, so the successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, making decisions, solving problems, and taking ownership of the property and resident experience. The Community Manager will be responsible for leasing, resident relations, administrative duties, property operations, and ensuring the community is well maintained and operating efficiently. On-call availability is required for resident and property-related needs outside of regular business hours. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday. While the property is being established and brought to an appropriate operating level, one weekday will be adjusted to include a half-day Saturday shift. Once the property reaches a level of operations that allows us to close the office on weekends, the schedule will return to Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential community independently. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, prospective residents, and vendors. Lease available units, conduct tours, follow up with prospects, process applications, and assist with move-ins and move-outs. Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions, concerns, and requests. Maintain strong resident relationships and work to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. Monitor rent collections, delinquency, invoices, and other property-related financial activity. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident and property records. Enter and maintain information in property management software. Manage incoming calls, emails, and other resident and property communications. Coordinate with maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors as needed. Monitor the condition and appearance of the property and report or address issues promptly. Assist with marketing and advertising efforts to maintain strong occupancy. Ensure leasing and property management practices comply with Fair Housing laws and applicable regulations. Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming leasing office and community. Handle other duties necessary to successfully operate the property. Participate in an on-call rotation of one, meaning this position is responsible for responding to after-hours property and resident needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in property management, leasing, customer service, or a related field preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable handling difficult resident situations and resolving problems professionally. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management regulations preferred. Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities. Must be available for required on-call responsibilities. Must be willing to work a half-day Saturday as part of the temporary operating schedule until weekend office closures are implemented. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership and gets things done. Because this is a one-person management team, this position requires someone who can stay organized, work independently, communicate well, and recognize what needs to be done without waiting to be asked. The right candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats—from leasing and resident relations to administrative work, vendor coordination, and day-to-day property operations.
