Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day property operations, including routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Assist the Property Manager in the negotiation of contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident inquiries and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize OneSite software to manage property information and communicate with residents.
  • Assist with the sales and marketing of available units, as well as other property-related services.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders through effective communication and customer relationship management skills.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in property management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong administrative skills and experience with property management software.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendors.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and their implications on property management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or an associate's degree preferred but not required.
