Assistant Residential Shift Supervisor- Day Shift Texana Center - 3.4 Richmond, TX Job Details Full-time $19 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Flextime Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Typing Patient emergency assistance First aid and CPR Full Job Description Assistant Residential Shift Supervisor Role Responsibilities The Assistant Residential Shift Supervisor-Day works under the direct supervision of the Res with guidance from the Residential Shift Supervisor. Responsible for supervising staff assigned to the shift, overseeing all aspects of resident life on the shift, and maintaining a safe, secure, and clean-living environment. Staff supervision includes assisting the Residential Shift Supervisor in interviewing for hiring, scheduling of work assignments, and completing evaluations. Client supervision/training includes monitoring health, skill acquisition training, and behavior treatment. Assures compliance with relevant standards and procedures. Communicates with Residential Shift Supervisor, BTTC Senior Manager, as well as other shift supervisors and assigned staff. Responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy, as well as ICF policies and procedures. Required to perform other duties as assigned. Overtime and flex time may be necessary to meet the needs of the clients. Occupational hazards include risk of client-induced bodily injury.
Shift assignment is:
6a-2p or as needed. Assistant Residential Shift Supervisors are Essential Staff and are required to work during an Emergency Event to ensure the operations of Texana Center continue and to ensure the safety and welfare of the individuals receiving services from Texana Center. Must possess and maintain a current, valid Texas Driver's License and be insurable by Texana's insurance carrier. Salary $19.00 per hour Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills High School Diploma or GED Texas Driver License (in good standing). Must be insurable by Texana's Insurance carrier Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills Experience with individuals with Intellectual disabilities Job Related Physical Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to perform kneeling, pushing, stooping, climbing stairs, walking, running, kneeling, standing, sitting, hearing (with or without aid). Must have the ability to see operate office equipment, operate motor vehicle. Must be able to see, write, type on computer, moderate Lifting (15-45#), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
