This position assists the Resident Manager with the leasing, financial, administrative, and resident-service operations of the community and must be able to assume the Manager's responsibilities when the Manager is absent. Responsibilities Lease apartments and assist prospective residents through the application and move-in process. Answer leasing inquiries, follow up with prospects, and assist with marketing. Pre-screen applications, verify employment and references, and calculate income qualifications. Assist with rent collection and posting. Prepare leases, correspondence, service requests, move-in/move-out paperwork, and other property records. Maintain resident information and prepare traffic and availability reports. Assist with inspections of the property and vacant apartments. Coordinate vendors and apartment preparation when directed. Respond promptly and professionally to resident questions and concerns. Assist with invoices and routine administrative responsibilities. Be knowledgeable of Fair Housing requirements and company policies and procedures.
