We're the largest non-profit provider of affordable senior housing in the Puget Sound region, with 5,000+ apartments across 17+ communities—and we're still growing! We are looking for a people-focused Assistant Community Manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and excels in customer service. What You'll Do As an Assistant Community Manager, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and well-managed community for our residents. Working closely with the Community Manager, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of daily property functions and provide exceptional service to our residents. Resident Relations Welcome new residents, handle move-in/move-out processes, and ensure timely completion of leasing paperwork. Address resident inquiries and concerns with empathy to help create a welcoming community. Leasing & Marketing Support Under the direction of the Community Manager, coordinate and administer day-to-day leasing activities such as conducting tours, identifying and following up with potential residents, analyzing lease clauses, and updating property information in management systems. Contribute to the marketing efforts by maintaining an updated waitlist and preparing accurate traffic and vacancy reports. Compliance & Record-Keeping Complete income certifications and re-certifications for residents in a timely manner to ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and regulatory requirements. Stay informed about and ensure adherence to Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, and other local, state, and federal laws. Financial & Administrative Tasks Collect delinquent accounts according to legal guidelines and work with accounting to ensure accuracy of rent roll and accounts receivable. Purchase goods/services/supplies, process invoices and assist with vendor management under the Community Manager's guidance. Property Maintenance & Coordination Partner with the maintenance team to address repair and maintenance requests, inspect property and vacant units, and coordinate services with vendors to uphold property standards. Team Collaboration Support the Community Manager in daily operations, handle various property management tasks, and foster a positive team environment. Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, coworkers, and other departments. Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Regional Manager.
