We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Community Manager to join our team and take charge of managing one of our residential communities.
Position Overview:
The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned property, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently. This role involves overseeing leasing, managing maintenance requests, handling resident relations, and ensuring compliance with property regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a positive living environment for residents while optimizing financial performance for property owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Operations Management:
Oversee all day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and regular property inspections. Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to complete repairs and property improvements.
Leasing and Occupancy:
Manage leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and conducting background checks. Maintain high occupancy rates by implementing effective marketing and leasing strategies. Manage lease renewals and negotiate lease terms with residents.
Resident Relations:
Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Organize and promote resident events and engagement activities to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management:
Oversee rent collection and ensure timely payments, addressing delinquencies as needed. Prepare and manage the property's budget, tracking expenses, and optimizing financial performance. Prepare financial reports and submit them to the property owner and upper management.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations. Manage safety protocols and regularly review emergency procedures. Conduct routine property inspections to ensure the property is well-maintained and meets regulatory standards.
Team Leadership and Vendor Management:
Supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel, ensuring high performance and a collaborative working environment. Work with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience, with prior experience in a supervisory role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. Ability to multi-task and handle complex operations efficiently. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations.
Certifications:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
