Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of property management, ensuring smooth communication between tenants, landlords, vendors, and internal teams. Your expertise in property administrative functions, leasing processes, and property management tools will help foster positive tenant relationships and maintain the property's operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the real estate industry while contributing to a well-managed and customer-focused environment. Duties Showing apartments and homes to prospective tenants. Assist with lease or rental agreement management, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing contracts in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software such as Yardi to update records, process payments, and generate reports efficiently. Advertise properties for rent and for sale. Reviewing and screening rental applications. Manage client communication through phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service at all times. Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate data entry records. Maintain organized filing systems for lease agreements, tenant records, contracts, and correspondence. Assist with conflict management by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Contribute to team management efforts by collaborating effectively with colleagues to meet operational goals. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is desired. Familiarity with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is highly desirable. Prior experience working within a property management company or in facilities management will be advantageous. Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, negotiation, and client communication is important for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence is necessary. Office experience involving filing systems, data organization, and phone etiquette will support your effectiveness in this position. Experience in sales or upselling rental units can help enhance leasing success rates while maintaining excellent customer service standards. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
