Disabilities Department:

Executive Director FLSA Status:
Exempt Position Summary The Senior Program Manager provides strategic leadership, oversight, and operational management for programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position ensures high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence, community inclusion, employment success, and quality of life while maintaining compliance with federal, state, regional center, and agency regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for multiple community-based and employment programs.
  • Supervise Program Managers, Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals.
  • Develop strategic initiatives and quality improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with DDS, Regional Center, Title 17, Title 22, HIPAA, OSHA, Department of Rehabilitation, and other applicable regulations.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and program performance.
  • Develop community partnerships and employment opportunities.
  • Monitor participant outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Represent the organization in meetings with families, funders, and community partners. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field Bachelors Preferred or equivalent Experience.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience serving adults with developmental disabilities.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Supported Employment, Community Integration Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Leadership and strategic planning
  • Budget and program management
  • Person-Centered Planning
  • Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems Certifications (Preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid
  • DSP Certification
