Job Description
The Linn County Recorder's Office is seeking a Deputy Recorder! In compliance with the Code of Iowa, this position supervises employees, processes payroll and claims, assists with personnel matters, participates in long-range planning, coordinates staff training, uses and implements new technology as needed, demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft products, contributes to budget planning, and carries out related administrative duties and any additional work as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, Real Estate, DNR, Passport, and Vital Records processes within the Linn County Recorder's Office. This position is appointed by the Linn County Recorder.
