Overview Join our team as a Public Service Worker I and be a vital part of maintaining and improving our community's infrastructure! The Public Service Worker I requires the performance of semi-skilled work to maintain the City's water, sanitary sewer, streets, parks and natural gas systems. The employee should possess strong technical and mental aptitude, and have effective communication, organizational, and public relation skills. This is a full-time position that will report to the Public Works Supervisor. The employee must reside within a 25-minute drive time to Louisburg. The salary range is $18-$22/hour based on experience and certifications. The City offers a competitive compensation package including paid employee health, vision and dental insurance, paid leave, and Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS).
